Fundraising - Fundraising Events
Distress Centres of Toronto's Resource Development Office, the Board of Directors, and the senior staff along with a core of committed volunteers are responsible for raising approximately 50% of the annual budget. This is achieved through the generous support of many foundations, corporations, service clubs and individuals as well as proceeds from several annual special events. These funds are used to support the services provided by our programs.
Our
11th B.A.D. Ride (Bikers Against Despair) will take place on Sunday May
25, 2008. The ride begins at the AMC Theatres in Vaughn and finishes at
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Mount Hope. We will be giving away
many fabulous prizes including the grand prize 105th Anniversary Harley-Davidson
